Candidate
Assessment
Provide a guide to assessing the
psychological challenges and opportunities of the candidate for ministry
including:
-
A psychological evaluation
using standardized testing and vocational inventories. These instruments
will address personality factors, areas of vulnerability, life skills,
goals and objectives, and emotional maturity.
-
A comprehensive interview
conducted by a seasoned clinician.
Reports will be furnished to the appropriate ordaining bodies, with the
written permission of the client.
-
A candidate assessment may be
individualized by the kinds of tests utilized, the character of the
personal interview, and/or the length and specificity of the reports
required.
-
Orientation or Follow-up
Consultation with ordaining body. Our psychologist will present the
evaluation, including interpretation of the subtleties of raw scores upon
request.
